It is initially asymptomatic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is considered to be an optic neuropathy, usually of the optic nerve, which is responsible for transmitting the information received in the retina to the brain.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Symptoms:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nThere are no symptoms at the beginning and it starts with slight alterations in the more peripheral visual field, sometimes with high intraocular pressure, but this may not be detected either.
